The Most Delicious Date

Pink Valley Wine Farm

10 September 2023

Picture this:

it was one of those rainy Sundays, and Greg and I were on our never-ending quest for good times and great food. Our Sunday tradition? Exploring new spots for eats, and on this particular day, our radar led us to the delightful Pink Valley Wine Farm. Neither of us had been there before, and honestly, we didn’t know what to expect. But hey, that’s part of the adventure, right?

Warm Welcome:

As we strolled in, we were hit with the cozy feels. Pink Valley Wine Farm had transformed into a cozy haven, and the fireplace was crackling away, welcoming us like old pals. Sipho, our friendly waitress, popped up to greet us and led us to our cute setup. Jess snuggled into the sofa seat, and I plopped down in a comfy chair. It was like we found our home away from home.

A Culinary Odyssey:

Now, let me get to the good stuff – the food! Jess and I aren’t big on the whole wine thing, but Pink Valley Wine Farm had a menu that could make anyone’s mouth water. Greg, being the foodie he is, jumped right into the menu, and what followed was a gastronomic rollercoaster of epic proportions.

Jessica and Greg, seated at a charming table at Pink Valley Wine Farm, eagerly perusing the menu and sharing smiles as they prepare to order a delightful array of dishes.

1. Yorkshire Pudding with Braised Beef (R185):

Greg couldn’t resist ordering the Yorkshire Pudding with Braised Beef for R185. Think tender beef snuggled inside a golden Yorkshire pudding – each bite was like a warm hug from your grandma (if your grandma was a master chef).

2. Pekin Duck Pancake (R135):

Next up was the Pekin Duck Pancake, priced at R135. It was like a little flavor party in our mouths – crispy duck, soft pancake, and that sauce? Well, let’s just say it had us licking our lips.

3. Unforgettable Pork Belly (R155):

Saving the best for last, we dug into the Pork Belly, a steal at R155. Folks, this was no ordinary pork belly; it was the Leonardo da Vinci of pork bellies. Crispy, tender, and so darn delicious that I might have shed a tear or two.

We’ve sprinkled in a few visuals sourced from Google and Pink Valley’s Facebook page to provide you with a more immersive view of our lovely visit.
