A Culinary Journey to Southern Italy in the Heart of Stellenbosch
Walking into Sofia Eatery with Greg was like stepping into a slice of Southern Italy right in Stellenbosch. The ambiance, the aromas, and the warmth of the place immediately enveloped us.
I opted for the gluten-free spaghetti bolognese, a classic dish that was both hearty and flavorful. Each bite was a testament to the chef’s dedication to authentic Italian flavors, even catering to dietary preferences like mine.
Greg, on the other hand, was in the mood for pizza. And not just any pizza. At Sofia Eatery, they take their pizzas seriously. Once baked to perfection in the wood-fired oven, the pizza was brought to our table where it was ceremoniously cut in front of us using golden scissors. It was not just about the taste but the entire theatrical experience that made it memorable.
As we enjoyed our meal, we chatted, laughed, and soaked in the atmosphere. It wasn’t just about the food; it was about the experience, the stories we shared, and the memories we were creating.
Leaving Sofia Eatery, we promised ourselves we’d return. Not just for the food, but for the moments that made our day special.
